Bridal Trials

"As a bridal makeup artist I truly understand the impact makeup can have on your wedding day.  It is one of the most special days of your life and you deserve to feel confident and completely yourself.  Your bridal trial is such an important part of that journey, which is why I always highly recommend every bride books a trial; with many brides choosing to have two trials, one shortly after booking to create the vision and a second closer to the wedding to fine tune any details or see the look alongside any final tan or chosen hairstyle.  I pride myself on creating the look you dream of and expertly tailoring it to you.  Within your trial i will guide you through everything from skin prep to the perfect lash style for your eye shape. During your trial i carefully photograph your make up, document every product used and create a personalised bridal file thats kept on record to recreate the look on the day"

How to prepare for your trial

1. How to prepare for your trial

Before your trial, please send over inspo photos of bridal makeup looks that you like, try to include a mixture of my makeup looks from my instagram or website. These photos can be a mixture of a lip colour you may like in one photo, an eye look you like in another photo; this is really helpful for me to understand and combine your favourite elements.  Please let me know if you wear makeup daily or simply for special occasions  because this helps me consider the right products for you.  If you are planning on having a spray tan, your brows groomed or laminated or lash extensions applied, please ensure you time this with your trial, so you get to see the full final look.  Its very common for brides to have two trials and use the second trial to time it with these  bridal treatments to preview the final look. All of these small details make a huge difference in helping you find the perfect look.  Please send these over via instagram or email, no later that 7 days before your trial.

2. What to wear

Please try your best to wear white or a light neutral shade similar to your wedding dress for your trial.  If you are able to match the neckline of your dress this will also help me trial the body makeup needed.

3. No makeup or skincare before your trial

Please arrive with no makeup or skincare on, this is vital so i can create your look from the ground up, prep your skin correctly and ensure your makeup wears just as it will on your wedding day.  Prior to your trial please disclose any skin sensitivities or conditions to Lacey via email or message, so she can be prepared for the day.
